Career Restoration Retreats

With increasing uncertainty and changes in our work and workplaces, you deserve to take the time and space to reconsider what success means to you and how to work towards it.

 

Our small-group, day-long retreats for physicians and/or leaders in medicine provide dedicated time to evaluate and strategize through facilitation. These retreats occur in-person at a location away from work and home, providing focus absent of daily routine and interruptions. Continuing Education (CE) credits are available for physicians.

Cambial Retreats are facilitated by Emily M. Hayden, MD, MHPE. Dr. Hayden is a practicing Emergency Medicine physician who has led change in academic medicine and Emergency Medicine. Her career began in Healthcare Simulation, and a decade later she pivoted to Emergency Medicine Telehealth. Through almost 20-year career in academic and clinical medicine, she has experienced and learned from career rebirth and renewal. Her keen sense of organizational behavior and willingness to challenge assumptions can help you increase your career resilience, overcome feelings of being stuck and adrift, and revitalize your purpose.
